Television Irreview: The Boys (Season 2)

I'll admit, the Stormfront character had me a little worried at the start of the second season of The Boys.  Not because I hate the character, but because the actor annoys me in a way that... come to think of it, is probably intentional.  Maybe it isn't, but there's no denying how well that particular subplot wraps up.  Sure, it's a little heavy-handed in its attempt at being subtly "liberal-good, conservative-bad," but it works for the story and is ultimately generically and appropriately "be a good person" enough that it shouldn't really irk anybody who might otherwise be irked.

Maaaaybe Season 2 isn't as good as Season 1, but it's damned, damned close.

I love this friggin' show.

8/10 (for Season 2)
9/10 (overall)
