Smoke & Mirrors

A lot's happened in the last two years.  As you can tell, I'm not really up on the blogging anymore.  That stated, I've been giving a lot of thought to starting a production diary of sorts.  Sort of a collection of "misadventures in Hollywood" anecdotes.

Then again, I think I tried that with the military once (or twice).  Didn't really work out.

I'll mull it.

In the meantime, enjoy this awesome song.

In a moment, there will be a moment in which a momentous decision will decide what will happen tomorrow.  And the day after that.  Irony, still, that this moment is every moment, and the collision of moments is what conspirators call choice.  Good, bad, indifferent... irrelevant.  Time is a recording of infinite crashes monkeying infinitely.  We all fall down.  Support suddenly becomes added weight, and time records yet another slip of a peel.  No one said it would be easy.  But no one really says anything of importance.  Comprehension is imported from experience delimiting the walls built by education.  And these must fall down.  Lest we be incomprehensible.

Not all barriers are conquerable by all.  Nature nurtures only in that it needs fodder for those who break through.  Those who can control the crash as much as possible.  A seat belt may save your life, but it's called a restraint for a reason.  Potential lashed, lulled, while you forget to use your turn signal.  Or are too lazy to.  Good, bad, irreverent... incidental.  Space is an arrangement of finite collisions infinitely colliding.  Boom.  It's dropped and what was once is no longer.  What was once is future.  Everyone wants the answer.  But no one really asks the question.  Inquisition restrained by the imprisoning walls of empathy.  The correct politically cannot be the conquerors proactively.  Lest we become weak.

Fear is as pervasive as hope.  One does not exist without the other, nor can one operate without the other's influence.  Hope is negative fear, and fear is negative hope.  Magnets of the mind, polarizing as much as they hold it all together.  Both must be controlled or the spiral begins.  Whether up or down, it is the speed that will kill you.  It is the ride that makes it worth it.  Gone with the wind, this isn't Kansas anymore.  You've made a wrong decision.  Accept it.  You've made a right one.  Flaunt it.  Someone disagrees with you anyway.  You'll wonder about it tomorrow.  Memory will resist the past as much as imagination will assault the future.  Emotion, on the battle lines, will simply have to deal with the now.  Lest we become inhuman.
